"I'd like to let you know that I just completed my upgrade training in May in the CRJ at Sky West Airlines. I would like to thank SKy Walk, Inc. for everything you have done. The training i received with you was top notch and it really prepared me for the airline world.
I was able to complete my Instrument through CFII/MEI ratings at a fast pace. I not only felt I was prepared for the checkrides, but also prepared to fly in challenging conditions. Gen is an excellent instructor and his experience shows.

"I came to Skywalk to upgrade my ratings and was subsequently hired by them as a flight instructor in 2002. I found Skywalk to be an excellent environment in which to both learn and teach. After gaining experience and building sufficient flight time I was hired in 2005 by the largest regional airline in the U.S. to serve as first officer on the EMB-120 Brasilia aircraft.
In terms of both quality of instruction and quality of equipment I found Skywalk, Inc. to be an outstanding flight school. All of Skywalk's aircraft are well maintained and safety is the primary emphasis in all of their training curricula.
For someone interested in launching a professional flying career, Skywalk's personnel and equipment resources are hard to beat. Gen Hakamata's many thousands of hours as a corporate pilot and Norbert Schuchbauer's years of experience as both a corporate pilot and a check airman and flight instructor for an airline provide the prospective career pilot with guidance and insights which are invaluable.
Skywalk is the only flight school at Executive Airport to have Garmin 430 GPS units in all of its instrument training aircraft. For me, having had the knowledge of how to properly utilize GPS in the IFR environment proved to be essential during my initial operating experience as a first officer.
When learning a technical skill such as piloting an aircraft it's important to learn things correctly from the beginning and to have the best equipment, instructors and environment in which to learn.
The staff and facilities at Skywalk, Inc. provide just that." --- Jon Ebeling

"From the time I began searching for a flight school to start my flight training, to the day I was hired on by an airline; SkyWalk was nothing but the best!! I initially choose SkyWalk because they seemed to be very professional, knowledgeable, safety conscious and have a fleet of well maintained aircraft. After just a few lessons, I realized that not only were my initial predictions about SkyWalk true, but that the staff truly cared and wanted everyone to succeed in their goals. This held true whether it was to pursue a Private Pilot Certificate or to go all the way to the Airlines. The knowledge and experience of Chief Flight Instructor-President Gen Hakamata and that of his staff of instructors, was tremendous and this was evident on a daily basis.
The superior training and instruction I received from SkyWalk has helped me to succeed in the many training programs I have gone through to become a Captain on the CRJ. During my upgrade to Captain I received many compliments on my flying abilities. I was even told, "Wherever you did your training before the airlines, they did an excellent job because you are far outperforming the expected experience level". I could not agree more about the training and assistance I received from SkyWalk. They helped get me to where I am today. Whether you want to fulfill your dream of becoming a Private Pilot, an Airline Pilot, or anywhere in-between, I would recommend SkyWalk to take your there.
