Becoming A Professional Pilot
This is a complete pilot training package, and is designed to prepare you for a career as a pilot. This course will take you all the way through the Commercial Pilot Certificate.
Costs
All students enrolled in the Professional Pilot Course at Sky Walk will automatically receive the "block rates" without having to purchase 10 hours of block time.
Our Professional Pilot Course consists of everything necessary to acquire your Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, and Commercial Pilot Certificate. The training consists of:
- Private Pilot
- 36 hours aircraft rental (C-152 or C-172)
- 30 hours flight instruction (C-152 or C-172)
- 10 hours of pre-post briefing
- 5 hours ground instruction
- access to audio visual tools
- Instrument Rating
- 35 hours aircraft rental (C-172)
- 35 hours flight instruction (C-172)
- 12 hours of pre-post briefing
- 5 hours ground instruction
- access to audio visual tools
- Commercial Certificate
- 105 hours aircraft rental (C-152 or C-172)
- 15 hours aircraft rental (Piper Arrow)
- 55 hours of flight instruction
- 15 hours of pre-post briefing
- 15 hours ground instruction
- access to audio visual tools
Depending on your choice of aircraft when applicable, for portions of your training, your total package costs will range from $24,637 - $27,457.
Training costs will vary depending on your study habits, frequency of
attendance, individual motor skills and the type of aircraft which will be used for your
training.
